Ride-hailing platform with driver bidding

Launch-ready ride-hailing for a regional operator

Mobile apps Flutter Deployment Payments
Maps & routing Store release Support

/ Overview

A regional transport operator needed a working ride-hailing product in weeks, not the nine months a ground-up build would have taken. We deployed a proven Flutter platform, rebranded it end to end, wired in local payment rails and mapping, and took it through both app stores.

Discuss a build like this

/ Project Details

Project: Ride-hailing platform with driver bidding

Client: Under NDA — reference available on request

Industry: Mobility & transport

Engagement: Deployment & customisation engagement

Built on: GoRide (Flutter taxi-booking platform) by siddhiinfosoft, licensed via CodeCanyon

/ Challenge

Building a ride-hailing stack from scratch means rebuilding solved problems — dispatch, live tracking, driver payouts, surge logic. The client needed those working reliably on day one, with a bidding model that let drivers negotiate fares rather than accept a fixed rate.

/ Provided Services

Platform customisation

Complete rebrand across rider app, driver app and admin panel — colour system, typography, iconography, splash and onboarding. Screens the client did not need were removed rather than hidden, keeping the build lean.

Integrations

Local payment gateways, Google Maps routing and geocoding, Firebase push notifications, and SMS OTP through a regional provider. Each integration was tested against live sandbox and production credentials.

Release & operations

App Store and Play Store submission including privacy declarations and account-deletion compliance, server provisioning, monitoring, and a documented runbook so the client's own team can operate it.

/ Solution

We started from a licensed Flutter platform rather than an empty repository, which moved the entire budget from plumbing to fit. Our work was the branding, the local payment and mapping integrations, the driver-onboarding flow, load testing, and getting it through App Store and Play review.

/ Tech stack

Flutter

A single codebase drives both the rider and driver apps on iOS and Android, which keeps feature parity automatic and halves the ongoing maintenance cost.

Laravel & MySQL

The admin panel, dispatch logic and driver payout records run on a Laravel backend with MySQL, hosted on infrastructure the client owns outright.

Firebase & Google Maps

Realtime location, push notifications and analytics through Firebase; routing, distance matrix and geocoding through Google Maps Platform.

/ Client's Feedback

They were straight with us that starting from a licensed platform would save us months, instead of quoting a ground-up build we did not need. The apps were in both stores inside six weeks and the driver side actually gets used.
