A creative studio's own website was the least impressive thing in their portfolio, and it was costing them pitches. We deployed a motion-led WordPress base, rebuilt the design around their identity, cut page weight by two thirds, and handed over a site their team edits without calling us.

Animation-heavy sites are usually slow, and slow sites lose the exact high-value clients an agency site exists to attract. They also needed to publish case studies themselves, frequently, without breaking the layout every time.

Design customisation
Full visual pass across the theme — type scale, colour system, spacing rhythm and motion timing rebuilt around the studio's identity rather than the demo's.
Performance engineering
Asset conversion to WebP and AVIF, script deferral, font self-hosting, plugin audit and caching. Page weight dropped roughly two thirds against the original demo build.
SEO & CMS handover
Technical SEO — schema, sitemaps, canonical structure, Core Web Vitals — plus locked page templates and a short written guide so their team publishes safely.

We kept the motion and removed the weight — deferred non-critical scripts, converted every asset to modern formats, and self-hosted fonts. Then we built constrained page templates so new case studies stay on-brand no matter who publishes them.
